Developing Tomorrow's Leaders Today
The American Legion Department of Texas proudly sponsors the annual Texas Boys State Program, one of the nation's premier leadership and citizenship programs for high school students.
The 85th Session of Texas Boys State will be held at The University of Texas at Austin from June 7–12, 2026. This nationally recognized program provides young men with a hands-on opportunity to learn how government works by creating and operating their own city, county, and state governments.
Participants gain valuable experience in leadership, public speaking, teamwork, civic responsibility, and decision-making while building friendships with students from across Texas.
